Concept MaquetteÂ
The Maquette has 7 wooden mannequins, bought from Dollarama, with designed faces, hairs, head/foot wearing, and cloths.Â
I used recycled shopping bags, conference badge strips, sewing threads, ribbons, dried flowers, and jeans for designing the cloths. The dresses are all innovatively designed except for the tweaked Qashqai jacket called Alkhologh, weared with a puffy styled gray skirt, which has hanging strips on sleeves inspired by the ceremony clothing of Elder Myeengun Henry. The footwears are inspired by the Manitoba Tall Wrap boots.Â
The bird near the iced lake is painted like the Kitchener's VictoriaPark ducks.
The mountain and iced lake decorations are inspired by the beauties of snowy LakeLouise.Â
The rug is a handmade Qashqai rug.Â
